Hi I am Matt! I was born and raised in the Bemidji Area and grew up fishing, starting at a very young age. I was fortunate to have my Grandpa, Dad and many Uncles to teach me how to fish and always brought me along. When I started fishing it didn’t matter what I caught as long as there was a fish on the end of the line. That helped me learn skills to fish many species, which I still enjoy to this day. Some of my favorite places to fish are Lake Bemidji, Cass Lake, Blackduck Lake and many other Bemidji Area Lakes. My favorite fish to chase on open water is walleye and I love the challenge it can bring from day to day but is also very rewarding to put it all together. Through the ice I enjoy chasing big perch, crappies and bluegills as it bring a lot of hook sets and great times. Throughout the summer I compete in multiple walleye fishing tournaments in our local area and find that has been a great way for me to continue to learn and grow as a fisherman. When I’m not guiding you will find me spending time with my wife, Sara and our dog Laker. We enjoy time spent together on the lake, traveling and being with our families.

Hi I am Will! I am a native Northern Minnesotan, having been born and lived in Bemidji all of my life. I started hunting and fishing when I was 3 years old and fell in love with the outdoors. This grew into a passion for me wanting to help others experience what Northern Minnesota has to offer. I am a tournament angler and an avid fly fisherman who loves to chase trout out west, and bass and pike here at home on the fly rod. My true love though will always be walleyes on conventional gear. One of my favorite things is to watch the excitement in others as they catch fish. I know our waters very well, I use all the updated technology in my boat, and I will work very hard to put you on fish!
